Land Art Day at Parc Pale in Lyndhurst 30th July 2016

Celebrating 80 years of the Campaign for National Parks with 38 Degrees

Rachael, Emily and I had an amazing day as artists running the Land Art Workshop for the New Forest on Saturday. We had a great turnout and people produced some amazing art with found objects at Parc Pale in Lyndhurst. We used the different coloured sands that you find there, along with gorse sticks, ferns and pebbles to make some really inspiring pieces of work. Thank you to all that came along! 

Our First Foal

Today we saw our first foal on Beaulieu Heath. He was so perfectly beautiful, folds of soft fur and skittery long legs.

Expression Through Art - New 6 week Art Therapy Dementia Group in Christchurch, Dorset.

Today we started a 6 week Art Therapy group in Christchurch for Dementia sufferers and their carers. We had a group of 8 participants and shared a fantastic space at St Joseph's Parish Hall in Christchurch. Thank you to all who made these art therapy sessions possible, and I'm looking forward to 5 more weeks of working with an inspiring group of people.

Creative Self-Care

for Counsellors/ Psychotherapists and Therapeutic Practitioners

A day of art making with an Art Therapist and an Artist

Spend an enjoyable and relaxing creative day; no artistic skills required.

 We all understand the stresses and emotions as therapists and counsellors and how easy it is to become stuck or overwhelmed. We will look at the beneficial ways to balance our work commitments with creative reflective practice.

We will share different creative approaches to self-care from journaling to meditation. We also plan to spend some time outside taking inspiration from the nature around us.

The day will be spent in a private studio surrounded by beautiful countryside.

3 Sunday workshops available as group sizes are small, book your day of choice early to avoid disappointment.

Last Arts and Wellbeing Session at Brockenhurst Village Hall

It was very sad to have our last Arts and Wellbeing session at Brockenhurst Village Hall on Wednesday. Thank you to all of you who came every week and lets hope to have funding in place for another group in September 2016. Please contact me if you are interested in attending.
